Red Quill Books Graudate Scholarship in Social Justice

The scholarship adjudication committee is pleased to announce that our second “Red Quill Books Graduate Scholarship in Social Justice” has been awarded to Martin Manolov, who’s doctoral thesis focuses on he impact of the EU integration and enlargement process on public and private policing in candidate countries.

His tentative thesis title is “European Union Enlargement and the Securitization of Candidate States: An Analysis of Policing Structures and Functions in Turkey, Croatia, and Macedonia.” The award is for $500.00 which will go towards Manolov’s graduate tuition.

Thanks to this year’s adjudication committee (Justin Paulson and Adrian Smith from the Editorial Collective and Betina Kuzmarov who acted as an external) for their time and effort.
